In 2018, we served as honorary chairs of the Montr\u00e9al MS Walk (Marche de l\u2019espoir). Walks were held in 17 cities across the province, amassing $1,044,449 for the MS Society of Canada. We took part once again in 2019, helping raise $950,000.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Gabriel Torani & Habib Haddad is the first pharmacy in Montr\u00e9al to be certified carbon-neutral and environmentally responsible. Pharmacie carboneutreTMcertification aims at combating climate change and certifies that our pharmacy\u2019s total greenhouse-gas emissions have been calculated and offset through investments in the only Qu\u00e9bec reforestation project to have received North American Gold Standard certification thus far. This project, implemented in the Montr\u00e9al Metropolitan Region, targets reforestation of degraded and unused land in urban and semi-urban areas, as well as recovery of forest ecosystems and creation of green spaces. In all, 403,976 trees have been planted, creating new woodlands strategically located in the Laurentides, Lanaudi\u00e8re, Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie, and Outaouais administrative regions.<\/p>\n

Our pharmacy also combines socially conscious actions with environmental actions such as transportation optimization and reduction of paper, plastic and waste. We also implemented green materials selection initiatives for construction of our new facilities. Even our delivery service complies with the most stringent environmental standards, yet without ever compromising product safety.<\/p>
