Gabriel Torani & Habib Haddad is the first pharmacy in Montréal to be certified carbon-neutral and environmentally responsible. Pharmacie carboneutreTMcertification aims at combating climate change and certifies that our pharmacy’s total greenhouse-gas emissions have been calculated and offset through investments in the only Québec reforestation project to have received North American Gold Standard certification thus far. This project, implemented in the Montréal Metropolitan Region, targets reforestation of degraded and unused land in urban and semi-urban areas, as well as recovery of forest ecosystems and creation of green spaces. In all, 403,976 trees have been planted, creating new woodlands strategically located in the Laurentides, Lanaudière, Montérégie, and Outaouais administrative regions.

Our pharmacy also combines socially conscious actions with environmental actions such as transportation optimization and reduction of paper, plastic and waste. We also implemented green materials selection initiatives for construction of our new facilities. Even our delivery service complies with the most stringent environmental standards, yet without ever compromising product safety.
